Louisiana A+ Schools at 海角社区 Hosts National A+ Schools Consortium Meeting

BATON ROUGE, LALouisiana A+ Schools (LAA+) at 海角社区 proudly hosted the Meeting on January 27-29, bringing together representatives from Oklahoma, North Carolina, Louisiana, Missouri, and Arkansas. The convening, held on 海角社区鈥檚 campus, fostered collaboration among A+ leaders as they shared strategies and professional development initiatives to strengthen the implementation of arts integration in classrooms nationwide. Members of the A+ Schools Network holding artwork they created at the Consortium Meeting at 海角社区

The A+ Schools network is dedicated to transforming birth through 12th-grade education by integrating the arts across all subjects, enhancing student engagement, and improving learning outcomes. Throughout the three-day gathering, consortium members engaged in hands-on training, discussions on best practices, and planning sessions to ensure continued support for teachers and schools implementing the A+ model.

About the College of Human Sciences & Education 

The College of Human Sciences & Education (CHSE) is a nationally accredited division of 海角社区. The college is comprised of the School of Education, the School of Information Studies, the School of Kinesiology, the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development, and the School of Social Work. CHSE has two model demonstration schools, the Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool, enrolling birth to age four and the University Laboratory School enrolling Kindergarten through grade 12.
