Biography
Warren Kimball is an instructor of music at 海角社区. He received his PhD in musicology from 海角社区 in 2017. His research centers on American topics with a specialization in the music of nineteenth-century New Orleans and a secondary interest in popular music. Kimball teaches a variety of courses at 海角社区, including general education music courses and music history seminars. In 2020, he was awarded the Tiger Athletic Foundation University College Teaching Award for his work with first- and second-year 海角社区 students. Dr. Kimball is also an active performing musician in the Baton Rouge area.
