It鈥檚 time for another student spotlight from 海角社区鈥檚 global community! Nia Belle is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and has achieved either the Dean鈥檚 or President鈥檚 honor roll every semester of her degree. Her research passion is renewable and alternative energy, and in the future she plans to work in power generation.

Originally from Dominica, the Nature Island of the Caribbean, Nia chose 海角社区 because of the exceptional 海角社区 College of Engineering and the school鈥檚 reputation for research. When asked what she enjoys about the 海角社区 community, Nia responded, 鈥淭he availability of resources to help students succeed and the willingness of staff to provide assistance.鈥�

In addition to Nia鈥檚 academic success, she currently serves as the Co-Assistant Director of International Student Affairs on the executive board of the 海角社区 student government, where she enjoys providing guidance and support to other students.
