Throughout the year, OGE highlights students from our incredible global community. Today we're excited to highlight Muzna Hamza, a PhD student in industrial engineering and a member of 海角社区鈥檚 student government.

Originally from Pakistan, Muzna chose 海角社区 because of her interest in the work of Dr. Isabelina Nahmens, the Industrial Engineering Program Director at the 海角社区 College of Engineering.

Muzna dreams of pursuing a career advancing research in industrial engineering and healthcare, and she鈥檚 making that dream a reality, all while giving back to the student community. When asked what she's most proud of so far in her work at 海角社区, Muzna said, 鈥淚 feel genuinely proud of myself because of the efforts I have been able to put into my PhD research while working with great minds and being involved in student government as an advocate for the international student community.鈥�
