About the College

For more than 100 years, the College of Agriculture has been an integral part of º£½ÇÉçÇø. Our roots go back to the first graduating class, while the mission of the college evolved our commitment to agricultural production in Louisiana remains the common thread that binds the college's past and future.

Erin McKinley is an associate professor in the College of Agriculture with a passion for nutrition and food sciences and is dedicated to building strong alumni.

º£½ÇÉçÇø punter Peyton Todd knows about performing under pressure. A West Monroe native and lifelong Tiger fan, Todd has balanced the demands of º£½ÇÉçÇø football with a rigorous animal sciences curriculum fueled by discipline and a passion for animals.

 Research, Extension and Teaching

The º£½ÇÉçÇø AgCenter plays an integral role in supporting agricultural industries, enhancing the environment, and improving quality of life through 4-H youth, family and consumer sciences, and community development programs.

Ag Alumni Association

The º£½ÇÉçÇø College of Agriculture Alumni Association and Friends’ mission is to promote advancement of º£½ÇÉçÇø and to provide support to all programs within the College of Agriculture and the º£½ÇÉçÇø AgCenter.

Our alumni are found across the globe working in diverse fields. Their experiences and knowledge help shape our students’ future and advance agriculture. Many alumni give back to the college through membership in the alumni association, participation in the Agricultural Mentoring Program, the Agricultural Career Fair and financial support of scholarships, professorships and internships.
