Sarah Keeton is the Biological Safety Manager for the Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) at 海角社区. The Biological Safety Manager promotes safe work environments, evaluates practices and facilities to ensure compliance with legal guidelines. Other duties include conducting training sessions, monitoring compliance within laboratories, investigating accidents, and providing recommendations for improvement.
After graduating with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Biological Sciences, she attended Louisiana State University and began her work on her master鈥檚 degree. After finishing her Master of Science, she continued her work and completed her doctoral degree at the Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine. Her research focused on anthelmintic resistance and alternative control strategies in managing gastrointestinal nematodes in small ruminants. After graduation she served as a research associate and lab manager for Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the 海角社区, School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
