Mae Anne Mangaoil, Fall 2020 Engaged Citizen Program Graduate

Congratulations to 海角社区 College of Engineering and 海角社区 Cain Department of Chemical Engineering graduate Mae Anne Mangaoil of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, one of CCELL鈥檚 Fall 2020 Engaged Citizens.

When reflecting on her volunteer work, Mae Anne shared the following statement.

鈥淭o me, doing service is like giving someone your extra pair of glasses so they could also see and enjoy the beauty of the world around them like you do. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing other people smile and be thankful because of you. That鈥檚 why I think that it is very important for every individual in the community to be involved and be an engaged citizen.鈥

Some of Mae Anne鈥檚 volunteer efforts include Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge, 海角社区 Tigers for Autism Awareness, and 海角社区 Office of Multicultural Affairs sponsored MLK Day of Service.

Congratulations, Mae Anne! CCELL and 海角社区 Campus Life wish you luck in your future endeavors!
