Dr. Kristine DeLong discusses her team's research in an article published by The Guardian

The Guardian published an article, , on January 20, 2021 about the effort to make the Alabama Underwater Forest a National Marine Sanctuary. A bill was introduced to Congress last year and hopefully that bill will move forward in the new congress. Dr. Kristine DeLong leads a team of 海角社区 researchers and students working on the site since 2012 and for the next three years. The team is planning to conduct fieldwork this May with support from the 海角社区 Coastal Studies Insititute and LUMCON.
