Archaeologists co-author chapter on ancient Peruvian architecture

G&A professor and 海角社区 alumnus (PhD, G&A, 2021) co-authored "Gathering Salinar Houses: Platforms-as-Assemblages in Ancient Coastal Peru" for the volume edited by Juan Carlos Moreno Garc铆a (2022, Oxbow Books).  The chapter applies assemblage theory to the analysis of the construction and renovation of raised platforms by groups associated with Salinar, an archaeological phenomenon that emerged in several valleys of the north coast of Peru following the dissolution of the Chav铆n and Cupisnique influences around 500 BCE. Congratulations!
