I do this work because it brings me joy to know that I鈥檓 helping students and their families get the best on campus experience. Many times when I鈥檓 talking with a student or parent, I think back to my experiences living on campus and how I can make that transition easier for them. It鈥檚 worth taking that extra moment to find a connection. They remember it and so do I.

My Background
I lived in upstate New York- Ogdensburg. It鈥檚 literally on the US and Canada border. You can take the bridge over to Canada, kind of like going from 海角社区 to West Baton Rouge on the Mississippi River Bridge.
If I didn't have this job, I would be a
Professional cake decorator. I鈥檓 self-taught but I鈥檇 love to take some classes from celebrity bakers. I applied to Food Network鈥檚 Baking Challenge once.
