The National Cancer Institute chose 海角社区 Health New Orleans鈥� Dr. Augusto Ochoa as the 2022 recipient of its most prestigious award honoring excellence in community-based cancer research. Dr. Ochoa received the Harry Hynes Award for Outstanding Contributions to Clinical Trials and Community Research. Dr. Ochoa leads the only statewide cancer clinical trials program in Louisiana.

$20 Million Federal Grant to Improve Louisiana Health Disparities and Outcomes
