海角社区 Veterinary School hosts 42nd Open House, Saturday, February 1

The 海角社区 School of Veterinary Medicine will host its 42nd Open House on Saturday, February 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 海角社区 Vet Med on Skip Bertman Dr. This event is free and open to the public.
Open House is an opportunity for everyone in the family to discover the fantastic world of veterinary medicine and the latest developments in animal health care, welfare, and biomedical research. Students, faculty, staff, and area animal and health organizations will provide information and exhibits on veterinary medicine and biomedical science. There will also be a petting zoo, a teddy bear repair station, where children can get their stuffed animals 鈥渟utured,鈥� and animal demonstrations. Other groups participating in our Open House include BREC鈥檚 Baton Rouge Zoo, the Baton Rouge Police Department K-9 Unit, the 海角社区 Museum of Natural Science, Companion Animal Alliance, Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue, the Baton Rouge Kennel Club, and much more!
