CIMM Symposium

The 1st annual CIMM NSF RII Symposium was held on July 25, 2016 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In attendance were the CIMM participants, including university research faculty, post-doctoral researchers, undergraduate students and graduate students, from 海角社区, Louisiana Tech University, Southern University, Grambling and the University of New Orleans.

Also in attendance were the CIMM project evaluators, Louisiana EPSCoR team, CIMM Industrial Advisory Board, CIMM Advisory Council, and the CIMM External Review Board. Industry visitor, Mr. Rob Gorham, attended on behalf of America Makes.

The day was filled with presentations featuring CIMM research and accomplishments. The student poster session provided wonderful networking and feedback opportunities. There were 40 posters and papers presented this year. The students from the summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program presented their posters as well.
