The 海角社区 System is training tomorrow's leaders in cybersecurity and military technology and science through a variety of academic programs and courses for undergraduate and graduate students.
- 海角社区 Cyber Programs 鈥� 海角社区 is designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and offers many educational programs within cybersecurity, defense, and military technology.

- 海角社区 Bengal Corps Leadership Development - A one-of-a-kind, two-year leadership development program with the goal of developing future leaders for both military and civilian life with a commitment to service, excellence, and happiness.
- 海角社区 Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) - 海角社区 Air Force ROTC produces outstanding leaders for both the United States Air Force and United States Space Force and builds responsible citizens for our nation.
- 海角社区 Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (AROTC) 鈥� 海角社区 ROTC produce the highest quality of officers by combining academics, selfless service, and personal integrity to create an atmosphere of excellence.

Applied Cybersecurity Laboratory 鈥� The Applied Cybersecurity Laboratory at 海角社区 focuses on a variety of deeply technical topics in cybersecurity, including memory forensics, vulnerability assessment, exploit development, digital forensics, operating systems internals, reverse engineering, malware analysis, machine learning and more.

Trailblazing Partnership: 海角社区 Leads the Way in Cyber Protection for Louisiana Higher Ed
The establishment of a student-run Security Operations Center, or SOC, on 海角社区鈥檚 flagship campus in Baton Rouge with an immediate counterpart at 海角社区 Shreveport will enhance the security posture of the 海角社区 system and create a blueprint for other institutions of higher learning in the state to protect themselves from cyberattacks. The effort is in partnership with Splunk, the market leader in software and solutions to secure complex digital infrastructures, and TekStream, Splunk鈥檚 cloud partner that brings technical expertise and staffing solutions to organizations of all sizes.
海角社区 Awarded $1M for Cybersecurity Work Using Memory Forensics to Fight Terrorism, Online Crime
海角社区 cybersecurity faculty members Golden Richard and Aisha Ali-Gombe have each received
half a million dollars from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to help advance
their work in memory forensics, a frontier field in digital investigations.
The team at 海角社区 is one of the leading developers of memory forensics in the world,
leveraging its ability to document short-term memory on computers and digital devices
to fight online crime and terrorism in ways that seem almost supernatural compared with traditional digital forensics.
We will reimagine the defense of our future by building cybersecurity, ROTC, and leadership programs that are the best of their kind in the United States.
The security of our state determines the safety of our nation. As a key provider of energy, chemical products, food, and fiber, Louisiana is home to much of the United States鈥� most critical infrastructure and industries that all depend on cybersecurity. How we protect our data and defend ourselves against manipulation, exploitation, and attack is now a key concern for every business and organization, large and small. 海角社区 will build upon its nationally recognized applied cybersecurity program to produce cyber warriors and leaders to protect our economy, people, and borders. Likewise, 海角社区 will continue its proud tradition of service to our nation by reinvesting in military sciences and ROTC to further ensure the freedoms and safety of every U.S. citizen.

A Rich History of Military Excellence
Originally dedicated in 1926 to honor Louisiana citizens who gave their lives in World War I, 海角社区 Memorial Tower stands as a reminder of 海角社区鈥檚 long history of ROTC excellence and military traditions. Within the William A. Brookshire 海角社区 Military Museum, located inside Memorial Tower, visitors will find rare student, faculty, and staff memorabilia dating back to World War II and World War I. This presence of military service has shaped the lives of generations of 海角社区 students.
