Dr. Shauna Landry earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and English from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Master of Social Work from 海角社区, and Doctor of Education from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Dr. Landry has experience in several TRIO programs and is an alumni of the TRIO Student Support Services program at UL Lafayette. She most recently worked as the Director of the TRIO Educational Talent Search program at UL Lafayette, where she also taught as an Adjunct Professor for the UNIV 100 Freshman Seminar course, before transitioning to her current role at 海角社区. She is looking forward to expanding on her many years of TRIO experience to increase opportunities for 海角社区 students in the TRIO Student Support Services program.

Leslie Guillory Jackson earned a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is currently pursuing her Master鈥檚 degree in Public Administration from 海角社区. Leslie鈥檚 journey in TRIO began when she was a participant in the Upward Bound program during high school. As a first-generation college student and graduate, she understands the unique challenges and triumphs that come with navigating higher education. Leslie鈥檚 professional career includes roles at the Louisiana State Office of Family Support and 海角社区鈥檚 Pennington Biomedical Research Center, with 13 years in research. Leslie鈥檚 desire to support students brought her to 海角社区鈥檚 flagship campus in 2022, where she worked with HSS & the Department of African & African American Studies. She is excited to bring her diverse experiences and passion for student support to her role as an SSS Counselor, where she looks forward to connecting with the 海角社区 community and contributing to the development and success of TRIO - Student Support Services program.
