- Congratulations to Dr. Gundela Hachmann who was granted HSS funding to bring notable
University of Virginia scholar Rita Felski to campus for an October 15, 2024 graduate student workshop and public lecture.
- Hispanic Studies welcomes Dr. Eliseo Fern谩ndez Barrionuevo, Spanish Education Advisor
to the Consulate of Spain. Dr. Fern谩ndez Barrionuevo will speak about the North American Language and Cultural Assistants Program in Spain. The presentation will take place September 27, 2024 in Room 424 Hodges Hall, 10:00am
to 11:00am.
- Language Lab Director Dr. Michael Dettinger will be featured in the September 18,
2024 discussing how the language lab is helping students with language study through AI
and other technology.
