Incident
A road rage incident involving a firearm took place Aug. 7, 2024 at approximately 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of Nicholson Drive and North Stadium Road. No 海角社区 students or employees were involved and no one was injured. The incident was not reported to 海角社区 Police until the following day, Aug. 8.
In the incident, two drivers got out of their vehicles at the intersection to confront each other, and one struck the other across the face with a firearm. Both drivers got back into their vehicles and drove toward downtown, and once off of 海角社区鈥檚 campus, one driver reported hearing gunshots from the other vehicle. 海角社区 Police and Baton Rouge Police are investigating the incident.
