Active Shooter Preparedness
To keep the 海角社区 community informed about what to do in the event of an active shooter situation on campus, it is imperative to watch the .
Figure out the situation:
- What is going on?
- Where is it happening?
- Who is doing it?
Use all of your senses in your assessment鈥� and do it quickly. Trust Your Intuition 鈥� your 鈥済ut鈥� feeling!
Once you figure out what is going on, you鈥檒l be better prepared to select one or more of the described actions described in the paradigm.
Active Violence Preparedness:
Mass attacks in crowds can happen anywhere at anytime. Acts of active violence includes individuals utilizing weapons such as knives, fires, drones or other weapons. It can also include the use of a vehicle to cause injury to individuals, or the use of improvised explosive devices (IED).
