Area of Interest
My interdisciplinary research examines the cultural landscape of Early Modern Iberia, focusing on the interconnectedness of women's literary contributions, ekphrastic representation, and the interplay of emotions and environment. I also analyze the Reformation's impact on Catholic monastic life and the influence of classical Greco-Roman thought on Hispanic literature, with particular interest in the works of Miguel de Cervantes and Pedro Calder贸n de la Barca.
